BENT: A Tale of Sins and Virtues

In a world nearly destroyed by an ancient cataclysm, humanity was saved by a divine being known as Sotiras, who rebuilt civilization through a harsh new order of Sins, Virtues, and inherited supernatural powers called Bents. Under the rule of immortal beings known as the Eternal Ones, noble bloodlines rose to power - and among them, none were more politically respected than the lightning-wielding Barak family.

But when the Barak bloodline begins to fail and children are born without awakening their inherited power, fear turns into fanaticism. Desperate to restore his family's prestige, the head of House Barak orders the murder of every child born powerless - along with their parents.

To save her unborn daughter from that fate, Judith Barak flees into the night with only her loyal guard, Iris, at her side. That escape triggers the fall of a noble house, the wrath of the Eternal One Leviathan, and the birth of a child named Soteria - a girl whose existence may change the balance of the world.

As corruption within the noble order is exposed and old powers are torn down, Iris is left with a new purpose: to protect Soteria at any cost. But grief alone will not keep the child alive. Forced into brutal training and drawn into the growing conflict at the eastern border, Iris begins to learn that the world beyond the Baraks is filled with monsters far greater than the family she escaped.

While enemy factions move in secret, mysterious warriors gather, trade routes collapse, strongholds fall under siege, and war begins to spread across the Faction of Envy. As Serpents, Divinities, and rising fighters clash in battles that shake the land itself, Iris must grow stronger in a world where hesitation means death - and where Soteria may one day stand at the center of everything.
