Synopsis
In a windswept corner of Rotterdam lies a football club on the brink of being forgotten: SV Kozakken. Its goalposts are rusted, its stands are rickety, and its players are a ragtag group of night-shift workers playing on their last drops of energy.
This is where Lucas Maarten a former rising star whose career was shattered by injury decides to hide from his own dreams.
To Lucas, Kozakken is nothing more than a final pit stop before giving up for good. But it is here that he rediscovers the true essence of football. He finds it in a coach who sees "something" in him, a young striker who constantly makes runs into open space, and an older brother who quietly sacrifices everything.
As this little club begins to secure impossible victories, Lucas and Kozakken must decide just how far are they willing to go to chase something they never even dared to dream of? <
