Synopsis

Winner of the Supernatural category and overall runner-up for 2024 Best Unpublished Manuscript at the prestigious Killer Nashville Conference, Destroyer of Many Worlds combines ancient mysteries, biblical prophecy, current events, and mathematical formulas into a fast-paced, cerebral thriller featuring seven original puzzles, all independently verifiable, that readers may choose to solve or simply read and enjoy the story.

Former Ranger Paul Wolf left the army with battle scars, a disability, and unanswered questions. Why was he the only man found alive under the wreckage of two helicopters when he wasn't on board either one? How did he suddenly become a mathematical genius after the crash?

While retraining as a physicist, Paul has a vision - the Archangel Gabriel tells him the world will end in seven days. Paul dismisses it as another hallucination until his former girlfriend, mathematician Lauren Romano, says she saw the angel too. The Archangel ordered Paul to prevent the catastrophe. He told Lauren to help. The key is to solve the number of the beast, the infamous 666 from the Book of Revelation.

The pair embarks on the quest together. Meanwhile, unknown to Paul and Lauren, physicist Julius LeGrand is on the same mission - except that he wants to trigger the apocalypse, not stop it. LeGrand believes the 666 solution is the means to summon Apollyon, the prophesied destroyer of Revelation 9:11, from the bottomless pit. Apollyon will end all life as we know it.  Who will achieve the solution first?

Did you know that the Great Pyramid of Giza sits precisely 66.6% of the distance from the pole to the equator? Six similar discoveries, all products of original research that you will not find anywhere else, are woven into the story. Written by a patent-holding professor of Data Science, each puzzle in Destroyer of Many Worlds is independently researchable and verifiable.
