Synopsis

Ilumi Aoki is seventeen, living in Tokyo, Japan, a freelance developer who builds websites for small businesses to pass the time, managing it all alongside school. Outside of that, his world is small on purpose: manga, games, and not much else, and he prefers it that way. One night he closes his eyes and doesn't wake up in his apartment.

Every time Ilumi loses consciousness, sleep, injury, it doesn't matter, he crosses over. The world waiting for him is nothing like anything he's known: kingdoms, empires, and a magic system that follows no rules he recognizes. There's no guide, no system window walking him through it. Just a world that doesn't care where he came from, an economy that punishes laziness, and magic that asks for passion and patience before it gives him anything back.
