The Watcher

Haze didn't expect that godhood awaited after death. At least, something akin to godhood. He was Haziel Icesworn, but also not really. He was more of a ghost that was puppeteering the body of Haziel Icesworn. When he put it that way, the whole situation freaked him out. Then, there's the Demons, Demonification, and the impending Calamity. It's... too much. 

Everything he's experiencing makes him feel alienated and unwelcome in this world. He's not strong, not good at swordsmanship despite being an Icesworn. All he has is a unique form of omniscience and his incorporeal mind. That being the case, he ought to use his powers to help those who cannot see all. He was doing the right thing, he was sure of it. 

Thus, the Watcher was born. 

As much as he thinks he is alone in this world, there are others who want to stand by his side. A truth-seeking Saintess, an illegitimate brother, and many more. Some stand with him when the Calamity comes while others despise him for what he has become.
