Synopsis

Kaito Tanaka is an ordinary high school student with an ordinary life—mediocre grades, a part-time job at a bookstore, and a deep love for video games. He wakes up one Tuesday to find a floating blue screen hovering before his eyes. A game system has installed itself into his reality.

At first, he thinks it's a dream. But when he completes simple tasks like running laps and paying attention in class, he gains experience points and stat increases. His body grows stronger. His mind becomes sharper. The system is real.

Then he uses his new  skill on his best friend Ren and discovers something impossible—Ren is level thirty-seven with a danger rating of extreme. The lazy, smiling friend he has known for years is hiding a terrifying power.

Kaito soon learns that the world is not as ordinary as it seems. Hidden clans of superhuman warriors exist in the shadows, protecting humanity from dark forces that leak through dimensional rifts. Ren belongs to one of these clans. And Kaito's own parents, supposedly on a vacation, are connected to a fallen bloodline of seal masters.

But Kaito is different from everyone else. While others inherit powers through bloodline or training, he is the only one with a game system—a power that grows through grinding, quests, and stats. As he levels up, the hidden society takes notice. Powerful families want to recruit him. Rival clans want to eliminate him. And a dark sovereign from another dimension wants to use his system to reshape the world.

This is a slow-burn journey from ordinary schoolboy to legendary gamer. Watch as Kaito balances exams, part-time jobs, and friendships while secretly grinding his way to the top of a hidden world.
