Kaito Tanaka is an ordinary high school student with an ordinary life—mediocre grades, a part-time job at a bookstore, and a deep love for video games. He wakes up one Tuesday to find a floating blue screen hovering before his eyes. A game system has installed itself into his reality.

As he levels up, the hidden society takes notice. Powerful families want to recruit him. Rival clans want to eliminate him. And a dark sovereign from another dimension wants to use his system to reshape the world.
