Synopsis

Mother Ecumenical Voice has a problem, and his name is allegedly Anthony Frost. He saved her life, and now he’s her demented pen pal until he can “cash in” the debt of honor. Meanwhile, his occupation brings him into direct, repeated conflict with her own. The kind with swords and gouts of fire sorcery. Meanwhile, she’s trying to get through each day, living in a high fantasy world where faith is fact and razzing the resident paladin is all in an evening’s fun.

What to expect:

Potato chip chapters six days a week, somewhat episodic especially after the first book. One week between books.

A hero/villain romance in denial about itself, buried under moral rectitude on one end and reflexive insincerity on the other. Also an organic QPR, which if you don’t know what that is shouldn’t trouble you.

High fantasy violence, things die but there isn’t any dwelling on gore. The magic system has checks and balances based out of FATE but isn’t litRPG.

Philosophical discussion based in fictitious religions using actual Scripture, mixed liberally with snark from a diverse supporting cast.

Relatively slow-burn, the first main arc is ~480 chapters or ~1,700 pages.

Reliable updates: 200+ chapter buffer.
