Death can take many shapes. For Neon, an aimless drifter, it came as a botched rescue attempt and a 21-floor fall. And yet, instead of afterlife, he's thrust into a secret, system-governed Death Game: The VileSports.

Paired to Nomine, a hyper-competent veteran with a penchant for the dehumanization of victims and allies alike, the two are pitted against competitor teams of conscripted Convicts, death-drafted Respawned, and Sponsors fulfilling their power fantasies, advancing through game stages riddled with brittle alliances and strategic combat.

But their partnership is doomed to failure unless they learn how to embrace each other's distinct brand of empathy and ruthlessness. Whether they break, or veer into a relationship far more twisted, perhaps only those behind the curtains can tell.

What to expect:

-A kindhearted yet defiant MC who questions every cruelty set out for him. Neon's core skill lets him copy those of others, mirroring his adaptability and sharp social awareness.

-A cold and efficient deuteragonist. Nomine has many tools in his arsenal kept obscured by trait-enabled secrecy, but his weapon of choice is an unbreakable sword he wields with lethal proficiency.

-Slow reveal of the true nature and scope of the VileSports, threaded through a light-cyberpunk presentation across multiple stages, objectives and environments.

-Task and reward progression system with growth spurs between each phase of the Death Games. Power is bestowed by the system in the form of Activable Skills and Traits, acquired or leveled by the usage of Credits.
