Synopsis

I want to tell you about a boy who should have died at age six.

He didn't.

And the world has been paying for it ever since.

Mitsuko Katō was human once — completely, ordinarily human. Then a serum that never should have existed entered his blood. Fused from two people who were never meant to meet. The greatest demon who ever lived. The greatest swordsman who ever breathed.

He survived it. Slowly, painfully, he adapted to it.

And then he built a family from the ruins of everything that tried to kill him.

That family was massacred.

By the people who were supposed to protect humanity.

What came after wasn't revenge. It wasn't grief.

It was something quieter. Something more permanent.

He declared war — on Muzan, on the Corps, on every system that decided people like his were acceptable losses.

The Upper Moons that Muzan spent centuries building?

Mitsuko gave them back their humanity. One by one.

And they followed him.

This isn't a story about a hero rising to save the world.

It's about what the world created when it pushed the wrong person too far.
