Epis was born at the bottom of the Demon Realm.

A low-born succubus, starving, unwanted, and barely understood even by her own kind, she survives in the forgotten cesspools where weak demons are left to rot. When the only person who ever protected her dies, Epis crosses through a sudden rift into the human world—a place of color, warmth, fear, and hunger she does not yet understand.
