Ever wondered what happens when the universe gives its greatest gift to arguably its worst candidate?
Meet Nicolas. Fourteen and an orphan. Professionally odd. Recently unemployed after falling off a cliff.
He survived. Technically.
What he woke up with was twelve voices in his head, each with strong opinions, zero respect for each other, and absolutely nothing useful to say when shit hits the fan.
One of them made a trained wizard sit down in the dirt just by looking at her.
Nicolas does not know what that means. The voices do and they're not telling him.
Somewhere between getting beaten up daily by a man who won't share his name, impressing people he doesn't understand, and failing to have a single normal conversation — Nicolas is apparently becoming something.
He just wishes someone would tell him what.
