Maya was a member of the Magus Guild, a powerful cabal whose sole mission was to kill the Gods. Working as a spy, her journey took her across the world, which she began to grow fond of. When the time came to sow the seeds of destruction, she chose to betray her family. After an apocalyptic battle against her leader, she chose to disappear from the world in self-exile.

As time moved on, the world seemed to have all but forgotten her. However, when an old friend arrives seeking her help, she learns of the ugly truth. The Gods have turned on their own creations. Maya finds herself at the crossroads once again, where she is reminded of the betrayal she had made for the sake of the world.

As she journeys across the continent once again, Maya begins to unravel what the Gods are scheming and how it connects to her own past. A prophecy that foretold the death of the Gods, and the one who was meant to fulfill it.
