Synopsis

Kyle Vaelthorn arrives in Mirevale with a secondhand sword, barely enough money for two months of lodgings, and a talent that means nothing yet.

Every day he trains, he grows one percent stronger. Not dramatically. Not visibly. Just one percent, in speed, in power, in precision, in everything.

It sounds insignificant, and for the first few weeks, it is.

But one percent compounds. And Kyle, a man who lived a previous life and knows exactly what patience can build, intends to let it run as long as this world will allow.

The world, unfortunately, has other plans.

Goblins are gathering in the forest. A centuries-old cult is conducting rituals in the dark. A crime lord wants him dead. And somewhere above it all, forces older than kingdoms are beginning to take notice of something impossible, a soul that doesn't belong to this universe. And Kyle might not be the only one.

Thrust alone into a new world, Kyle has only his talent, his sword, and the patience to keep moving forward.

In a world with no mercy for the powerless, the only thing worth building is power that no one can take from you.

This is a story about patience, compounding power, and a world with far older secrets than Kyle expected.
