I Can See Health Bars [An Eldritch Apocalypse LitRPG]
Synopsis
The story takes place in a sprawling Eastern metropolis swallowed by energy pollution...
When the apocalypse arrives without warning, everyone screams and flees in despair, only to be torn to shreds by twisted flesh monsters.
But Vince Lin just stands quietly behind his security door, looking at the red bar with numbers that suddenly appeared through the peephole: [300/300].
As a veterinarian, Vince has a remarkably simple survival philosophy: As long as you don't die, you live.
Soon, he discovers that the world in his eyes has turned into a cruel survival game.
Killing zombies not only drops survival supplies, enhancement serums, and mysterious crafting materials, but it also directly increases his Max HP.
Magical fireballs? Illusory blessings from the gods? None of that matters.
As long as you dare to show a health bar, even if you are a god, Vince will use the supersonic thrust of a Laval nozzle stacked with gravitational acceleration to give evil creatures a little shock of classical physics.
After all, kinetic energy equals one-half mass times velocity squared.
Steel pipes and spears are cold weapons, but a meteor is also a cold weapon.
"Wait... you call that a weapon?"
What to expect (Beware of spoilers):
Hardcore Physics-Based Combat: No flashy magic beam struggles. The protagonist's combat style is the pure collision of mass, velocity, momentum, and flesh.
(Note: We start with the raw application of F=ma using steel pipes. The large-scale, earth-shattering applied physics will kick in during the mid-stage. Trust the process.)
Unique System & Loot Mechanics: Kill monsters to gain Max HP. Drops crystals, serums, and various modules (e.g., the "Interface Module" that reshapes scrap metal into divine weapons).
Zero-to-Hero, Step by Step: A steady, grounded progression route accompanied by high-intensity, bloody combat.
Pragmatic & Cold Protagonist: A veterinarian's philosophy—[Survival, Equivalent Exchange, and a Reverence for Life].
Elite Squad & Base Building: The protagonist is no babysitter. He will build a highly contrasting elite squad, while delegating camp management to ordinary people.
Author's Note / Warnings:
Warning: This book contains high-intensity violence and gory dissection scenes (the protagonist doesn't just kill monsters; he dissects them like a vet to harvest crystals).
Release Schedule: 5-6 Chapters per week. (Subject to change)
