Another World: Building an Empire from Zero(Kingdom Building;Military;LitRPG;Ruthless MC;Isekai)
Synopsis
The 450th year of the Dark Age. Deep winter.
Humanity is losing the war. To the brutal, green-skinned Orcs, humans are nothing more than slaves and livestock.
Soren, a former Special Forces drill instructor in his past life, wakes up in the body of a lowly recruit in the Silver Moon Kingdom’s Red Moon Knights. His current situation? Abandoned at the very edge of the frontline: The Misty Swamp.
It’s a death trap of toxic miasma, treacherous bogs, and magical beasts. His only assets are twenty-five demoralized, half-starved recruits.
His enemy? The Orcish Alliance—a hundred-thousand-strong horde backed by shamanic magic and heavy siege engines.
To make matters worse, the kingdom’s corrupt nobles are secretly colluding with the enemy, and his so-called allies are just waiting to stab him in the back.
It is an absolute dead-end. A guaranteed game over.
But then Soren awakens the [Warlord System]. Stripping away the naive, outdated chivalry of this era, he introduces this brutal fantasy world to something far more terrifying: modern Special Forces physical conditioning, ironclad discipline, and asymmetric warfare.
No troops? He recruits rebellious peasants, wrongfully exiled criminals, gladiators on death row, and even the vassal Goblins that the Orcs use as emergency rations. Under his banner, they are forged into warriors.
No gear or logistics? Night raids, poison, and ambushes become his bread and butter. He hijacks the Orcs' supply lines, builds his own foundries, and cultivates high-yield, blight-resistant crops to feed his growing army.
No talent? With the System's ability to perceive hidden potentials, he unearths diamonds in the rough: a peerless sharpshooter, an ascetic monk possessing iron-body arts, a vengeful mage commander... All drawn to his cause.
When the Orcish Alliance finally realizes something is wrong and dispatches an army to crush this minor nuisance... they are met with absolute horror.
They aren't facing a ragged band of stragglers. They are facing a heavily fortified stronghold bristling with trebuchets and heavy repeating crossbows. Waiting for them are heavy infantry capable of crushing Orcs in melee; highly mobile Wolf Riders; a disciplined Phalanx of pikemen; longbowmen who can pierce heavy armor... and artillery-like mages unleashing elemental fury!
Soren's goal is no longer just surviving the Orcish Alliance.
His eyes are set on the conquest of the entire continent of Ayresia.
What to Expect:
Kingdom Building & Management: Building a territory from absolute zero. Absorbing multi-race refugees with a detailed focus on logistics, agricultural development, and climbing the tech tree.
Army Progression: Deep tactical troop compositions (Phalanxes, Longbowmen, Repeating Crossbows, Wolf Riders, Scouts) combined with brutal, modern military training regimens.
Ruthless, Pragmatic MC: A highly intelligent protagonist who calculates every move. No naive mercy or pacifism. He uses terrain, psychological warfare, and spec-ops tactics to win against overwhelming odds.
Talent Scouting: Uncovering hidden gems in the rough and assembling an all-star roster of generals and specialists.
Grimdark, Low-Magic Combat: Visceral, bloody cold-weapon clashes where formations, morale, and supply lines matter just as much as individual strength.
System as a Tool: A System element that acts as an analytical and progression aid rather than an overpowered, hand-holding crutch.
