Celeste - Altrite Chronicles

Fifteen-year-old Celeste is an orphan living in the Kingdom of Vreshin, where magic defines a person’s future. Yet despite possessing an Altrite crystal—the source of magical power—her spells always fail. The only element she can summon is fire, and flames trigger terrifying visions of a kingdom consumed by bloodshed and destruction. In every dream, a mysterious voice calls her name.

After failing the examination required to become a Magician, Celeste’s prospects seem hopeless. She reluctantly accepts additional training from her teacher, but before it can begin, demonic creatures attack. The battle awakens a power she cannot control, causing a catastrophe that threatens the kingdom and nearly kills her.

Branded defective and stripped of her crystal by the King, Celeste refuses to surrender. When she learns that the truth behind her condition may be hidden in secret archives, she sets out on a dangerous journey to uncover why her magic is broken. Armed with little more than her sword and determination, she must survive a world where power is everything.

**This story was first written over 15yrs ago, and has evolved over time to include a lot of my personal life experiences. The novel has a deep place in my heart. I have hundreds of images I drew by hand in its early days, mainly of the characters. Poems, songs, and AI generated images along with videos also exist for this story. But I don't know how soon I will be sharing those. For now, I do hope readers enjoy the story as much as I do.
