At least, that was the main takeaway that Gus got from suddenly being given a powerful ability out of nowhere. The world is ending and most people don't even know its happening. Now Gus has been brought onboard a dangerous game played by people just like him, behind the scenes of the unsuspecting but slowly crumbling world, and almost no one knows about it.

With portals to other worlds opening up all over, Gus needs to brave new and unexplored territories to find power and resources he'll need for when all hell finally breaks loose. The question is can he do it in time, or will his confident claim that he can defend his friends and family be his...Last Words.
