Wind and Water: An Isekai Progression Fantasy Adventure
Synopsis
What if real strength came from befriending monsters rather than hunting them?
To most people Jack looked like he had a good life.
On the inside he felt like he was slowly suffocating.
When he’s summoned to a new world he thinks it might be an opportunity, but instead of becoming a hero he’s declared vacant: no special abilities and zero potential.
Thrown from the city into a nightmare jungle, Jack barely makes it through his first night. Poisoned, delirious and bleeding out on a beach his last conscious thought isn't how to survive, but how to protect the ocean from what's killing him.
But the ocean itself refuses to let him die.
And when he wakes up, very much alive, he finds himself changed: stronger, faster and somehow able to turn the corruption that almost killed him into his own power.
With the help of some new friends and a sneaking suspicion that even the people that rejected him don’t fully understand what’s going on, it falls on Jack to unravel a conspiracy involving corrupted monsters, suppressed powers and an ancient civilization beyond the clouds.
To tell the truth he’d rather spend his time trying to befriend every strange new animal he comes across, but sometimes you need a good guy to punch a bad guy in the face.
And Jack loves punching bad guys.
