Thorn's Edge: A System Apocalypse LitRPG

Olivia Thorne wasn’t trying to save the world. She just wanted to save her dogs.

When the System arrived, she ignored the messages until mana-crazed squirrels attacked her elderly Jack Russell terrier. Armed with the shovel she’d been using to dig up her bougainvillea, Olivia fought back.

That was enough to get her dumped into a challenge scenario, dog in tow. Now she’s fighting monsters, collecting improbable loot, and accidentally adopting strangers she then has to keep alive.

The creepy Santa Claus in her brain insists this is a rescue. Sure, billions of people might die, but the Multiverse is saving the whales.

Meanwhile, Olivia’s oldest dog is acting like a puppy, her bougainvillea has started killing her enemies, and she herself is becoming more OP by the day. But if she’s Earth’s best, Earth is… well, you know.

A hopeful, character-driven System Apocalypse/LitRPG with dry humor, found family, and plot-relevant dogs.

What to expect:

– A reluctant heroine who becomes extremely OP and remains baffled by it.
– Dogs that behave like dogs. Absolutely no dog deaths.
– Monsters, rifts, quests, abilities, and entertaining loot.
– Not grimdark. More like fundark.
