The world is a vertical tomb of twenty two layers. On the surface, "Lowlanders" rot in gray silence, selling their happiest childhood memories to the elite just for a day’s worth of oxygen. Shiro was one of them—a dying junkie with nothing left to lose.

Until he fell.

Descending a kilometer into the forbidden ruins of O.L.A.V., Shiro didn't find death. He found a biological nightmare that rewrote his DNA. Now, Shiro must climb back up.

But the Abyss doesn't let go easily. Each layer is ruled by "Hax" users—tactical geniuses who bend the laws of physics and biology. In this world, a bigger sword means nothing if your enemy can reflect your kinetic energy or turn your own bones into shards.

To save the only person he has left, Shiro must do the unthinkable: consume the brains of the elite, steal their tactical secrets, and sacrifice his own humanity to become the ultimate apex predator.
