...and a little bit of help in the form of a miraculous artifact offering guidance, purpose, and treasures beyond mortal comprehension certainly goes a long way.

When you’re an orphan street rat with no money, no family, and nothing but hunger and death in your future, you don’t question miracles. Calvin certainly didn’t question his. And suddenly, his future didn't seem quite so dark any more
