Synopsis
The Red Thread Initiative is a hard sci-fi epic about a man who dies in 2025 and wakes up as his three-year-old self in 1979 with every memory, every regret, and fifty years of future knowledge intact that he utilizes to remake the world.
But the future he is rewriting was never empty. Ancient systems, predatory intelligences, and a hidden war that has been running for millennia begin to notice the new player on the board.
This is not a story about a single clever intervention. It is the long, meticulous, often brutal construction of an empire from the ground up by a man who is simultaneously a loving father, a cold strategist, and something older and darker that has been living inside him since the day he was born.
If you like rigorous alternate history, empire-building, hard science mixed with genuine mythic weight, and protagonists who treat time itself as a system to be optimized, this is the series.
