Synopsis

Peter Brookes should be dead.

Instead, he’s been abducted by aliens, tasered awake by a condescending robot, and offered the chance to earn a place in a galaxy-wide battle royale watched by trillions.

The rules to qualify are simple: grow stronger and gain one of the top spots on the leaderboard.

Oh, and don’t die.

Given a cabin, a few tools, a stat system, and no useful skills whatsoever, Peter’s solution is obvious: chop trees until he's an absolute beast.

Joined by a smug, talking arboreal observer (not a squirrel), Peter ignores danger, takes absolutely nothing seriously, and accidentally becomes terrifyingly powerful.

A comedic progression fantasy featuring rapid growth, escalating nonsense, and a protagonist whose response to life-or-death situations is usually, “How hard can it be?”
