The Falling Mountains

Soldiers of The Falling Mountains company ready to make history, hundreds of the mechanically and cybernetically enhanced soldiers stand at the event horizon of an artificial black hole. With the rupture in the fabric of reality and the advanced scouting through the abyss of the void, a new planet has been found, the directors have designated it X-01; the first planet marked for destruction. Rich in natural resources and with abundant forests, The Falling Mountains LTD has deemed it acceptable for the planet to be harvested. 

The planet known as Yanna, is on the knife-edge of war. With magical spirits granting mortals tremendous power, it would only take one power drunk lunatic to kill the wrong person to start a brutal war. Away from the cities in a woodland on the borders of nations, a group of five people explore an anomaly that now begins to warp the local magic. 

How would a world already tightly tied up in politics react once a powerful hostile force emerges and how would the few still hopeful soldiers react to destroying a beautiful world for their corporate overlords.
