Peasant Farmer to Emperor Mage (Lit-RPG)

Book 1 is fully written (135k words), and Book 2 is being serialized.

Jacob is just a waste of a human, according to his own parents. He flunked out of college and is unable to hold down a job for more than a few months. He was nearing the age of 30, but he continued to be a drag on his parents' lives. Thankfully, he is no longer their problem after the incident.

Jacob ends up on the path of reincarnation, where a friendly old man helps him into the world of magic. Sadly, he was born to a couple of peasant farmers, but he quickly turned this around with his knowledge of modern agriculture and a touch of magic.

Book 1 follows Jacob as he explores his new magical world, Meldra. The first book is a Non-System POV with people around Jacob following system mechanics.

The story starts out with more slice-of-life content, and the system is not fully realized in book 1, but book 2 includes full system integration.

The system of his world is quest-based, with an analog of magic that is not entirely controlled by the system.
